Novotel Lombok is located in one of the most beautiful places in
lombok and is the only four star hotel in the south of the island.
Located on the stunning Putri Nyale beach in Kuta, a most beautiful
bay farmed by two large headlands, with a tranquil lagoon that
circles around the back of the resort, Novotel Lombok is an idyllic
tropical holiday destination far from the madding crowds.
NOVOTEL Lombok in kuta is following up on the huge success of its
four private Pool Villa by creating another three to bring the total
number of seven, which will be open for business in May 2008. the
keyword with the villas is ‘private’ and they are perfect for
romance, with private gardens, terraces, large square baththubs and
of course they own private pools.
The original Idea to add swimming pool as pools to the four villas
was that they had no views of the ocean or lagoon and were hard to
rent out, so they installed private swimming pools and gardens to
make them more of romantic sanctuary for couples, and in the process
created a much more saleable product.
The idea worked and the result is that it has become a big success
for the Novotel. The villas are almost always full with lots of
honeymooners choosing to visit and stay in a Private Pool Villa. In
fact they are in such high demand from the Korean Honeymoon market,
they are almost exclusively rented out of them.
Upon complaction there will be a total of six double villas with 6m
pools and one family villa with 8m pool. One of the double villa
will be located on the beachfront allowing the guest step straight
out onto the sand. This villa will obviously be in very high demand.
Apart from initiatives such as the Private Pool Villas Novotel
Lombok is doing very well all around the Lombok Tourist Market seems
to be picking up in general. Novotel’s figure for the first quarter
of 2008 are well up on last year and look set to keep rising. Event
despite the European Union ban on Indonesian Airlines, European are
flocking to Novotel Lombok along with an increase in expats, from
within Indonesia and the region, looking to totally get away from it
all.
Despite being along way from civilization, Novotel Lombok really
takes care of its guests by providing a large range of complimentary
activities to help break up the day when lying on the beach or
frolicking in the hotel’s two beachfront swimming pools becomes too
much. They offer botanical garden tours, aqua aerobics, a petanque
tournament, beach soccer and volleyball, local market visits,
cooking classes, pottery and weaving demonstrations, monkey visits,
massage demonstration, canoeing, guided sunset walks and archery.
There is now even a golf driving range where you can fire balls out
into lagoon. There are other activities, which require some
financial outly, as well, including renting bicycles and mopeds,
scuba diving, catamaran sailing, and horseback riding. So whether a
culture vulture, a fitness freak or a sport nut there are activity
to suit everyone.
There is also very special event that takes place every Tuesday and
Saturday mornings, a complimentary early bird trip to nearby Segar
hill, the sigh of Lomboks annual Nyale fishing festival, to enjoy a
complimentary breakfast while watching the sun come up out of the
Indian Ocaen.
