LOCATION
 The
Pacific Beach Villa is located beside the Pacific Hotel and
Restaurant and in front of a cozy beach that witnesses spectacular
sunsets overlooking Mt.Agung in Bali.
Nearby is a point with panoramic views of Senggigi Bay, the
southerly Lombok coastline and Bali’s highest mountain, Gunung Agung.
At most times hundreds of perahu (traditional fishing boats) are
sailing during the day as well as at night. At night time the perahu
resemble a sea of candles. In addition to only a 25-minute drive to
Selaparang airport and 30 minutes to Mataram, the capital of Lombok,
these luxurious accommodations have easy access to all the popular
places in the vicinity. Nearby Senggigi has many shops and
restaurants. Located on the beach, it also offers water-sport
activities. Further south is Batu Layar, a traditional fishing
community, which features a variety of interesting art shops,
galleries and garden centers.
To the north are other wonderful beaches such as Mangsit and Klui
extending right up to ‘the Gilis’ water adventure islands. Although
traditional, the island offers modern facilities such as ATMs and a
well-stocked shopping mall and supermarkets.
Mataram features several hospitals with highly trained medical
staff.
Flights from and to Bali are available at numerous times during the
day and take about 30 minutes as well as International connections
to all the continents and connections to Jakarta. Other
international flights from Mataram link to Malaysia and Singapore,
ongoing to Europe. Transportation is never a problem if you prefer
to venture on your own. The local bemos, a kind of mini bus, come
along at any time. The taxi is a good and quick choice. Taxi service
is first class and all cars are equipped with taximeters.
If you are not in a hurry try the traditional quite romantic Lombok
cidomo, a horse-drawn cart painted in many colors and fancily
decorated.
For long-term occupants the International school, only ten minutes
from the Pacific Beach Villa , will provide accompanying children
with contemporary curricula and highly trained international
teaching staff.
